    Smile Oldmics is ??

Happy birthday young, middle-aged, old man. Since you're hiding your age from us, I'll post a picture of your namesake.

    Have a good one!

Yes,the festival season has wound down here in the north/east but still have a few things to do.

Going to see the E.A.W. roadshow next week and see what the former "L" Acoustics guys are cookin up now that they are with E.A.W.
Steerable arrays-yeah,this should be good.I"m ready to ask questions

Thanks to all for the good wishs.

    Dood...

I'm just settling into a small passel of the XT's - like them a whole lot, boyhowdy. It's quite interesting using a coax for FOH... Have used the HiQ's too, but my apps require broader dispersion.

Have you had a chance to use this box?

I believe it's this stuff - 'interesting concept: http://www.eaw.com/products/DSA/ 'Not sure how well this technology might transfer to live audio for big shows...it appears to be different from their "focusing" technology: http://www.eaw.com/products/NT/index.html

    OK, thanks.

I should start a thread on the L-Acoustics 115XT but these may not be of much interest here.
