Citation 25 Preamp question

All,
I found a 25 on the 'bay. Seems like it's the last of the Japanese built HK's. Looks like a good quality preamp and has a remote. 1988 build. Looking for something with clarity, detail and range. This is going to go through my Perreaux 200p and into the L-300's. How does this stack up against the older HK SS preamp offerings?

Not sure if HK and Perreaux is a good combination. HK is pretty "hard", and the Perreaux uses MosFets, witch is very close to the sound of tubes.

Never tried it, might work, please tell us what you think.
