I have a line on a couple 2245s (if they aren't gone yet) and was wondering are these equivelent to the LE175 or LE85 and what would the actual differences (other than magnetic material) be?
Thanks guys

A 2245 is a 18" woofer
A 2425 is a compression driver. Functionally, the same as this "linked" 2426 .
"J" suffix on a compression driver, means it came "stock" with a "16" ohm titanium diaphragm .
"H" suffix on a compression driver, means it came "stock" with an "8" ohm titanium diaphragm .
or 2445 perhaps? 2" exit (vs 1" exit), ferrite magnet, smooth Ti dome, diamond surround,
compression driver.
2425 is also smooth Ti dome, diamond surround... lots of use including Everest, 4430/5, ...
Might also check power handling vs LE175/85 models ... Al domes...

My typo mistake. It's a 2425 compression driver. So its most similar to the LE175 or LE85?
If used in rear channel surrounds, would they be a good match for my front LE175s/075 combinations?
Apart from all the possible impedance differences, the 2425 is closer ( in FR and power handling ) to the le85 .Originally Posted by Toddalin
Actually the field intensity is the same as the 175.
