    Your first JBLcomponents??

My first was a 2110A, which I promptly coupled with a dynaudio horn tweeter in a ported cabinet....in 1979....6db filters Actually, sounded pretty decent at lower volumes....suprising....however within 2 years I was playing with 2235's, 2108's, E140's, horn/lens.......but in years I haven't seen a nice pair of those 2110's on ebay....emphasis on nice...if nothing for fuzzy memories, they would do ok in the shop/garage, with a tweeter...for FM radio, anyway....so what was your first JBL component??

A pair of Lancer 77's were my first JBL loudspeakers.

Shortly thereafter a pair of LE14A's were my first components.

It quickly got out of hand from there.

Bought my first pair in 1974. After listening extensively to the L200, I bought the Sovereign I S8R. Still have them today (in the bedroom) and listen to them near every night. Condition after all this time is an easy 9 out of 10. First components were D130's, 075's and 2400's in 1979. Those are long gone.

Used S-99's. They later survived a flood with water halfway up the cabinets, and JBL reconed the Le-14's for free!! I also built new cabinets for them at that time...

    I went the other way...

My first JBLs were a pair of DIY S7s... then S7s + 2405s... then

Then I went over to Audax, Dynaudio, Focal, ScanSpeak, Seas.... etc. etc. for a decade or so and then back to JBLs...

I started in 1974 with L25 Primas and then grabbed L88 Plus on closeout with M12 expander kits in 1975. Shortly there after I mirror imaged the L100's then upgraded them to 4312A years latter. I found E-Bay got a pair of L80t3. From then on I have been trying new stuff ever since. New for me that is.

    In 1982, I traded a pair of L150's for a DIY rig that consisted of 2205A's, 2397's with 2328/2327 adaptors, 2420's and 2405's. Included was a 5234 with 500hz and 800hz cards. I still have the 5234.

    Cool

1969 A pair of D130's. Followed by a pair of K140's in '75, then 2470's on Community radials, 2345's with 2461's, followed by 2420's with 2307+2310, and a pair of 2220's. Lately I've added more...

A pair of 075's and their networks. Then I got away clean for 35 years, but last year I went nuts with JBL gear. Still am nuts, but the stereo sounds light years better.
