Best possible 4350's improvement with serious budget?

I see a bunch of threads where people change the crossovers and electronics of vintage JBLs to make them sound better.
If I had a comfortable budget of a few thousand dollars, and was willing to consider changing all the electronics of my 4350's, what would be the approach?
Currently, I use the original built-in passive filters (3107's?) as well as an active stereo JBL crossover for bi-amplification purposes. My signal chain pre-crossover is very good with dual macIntosh power amps, Mac pre and Wadia CD player.

Ideas welcome. What kind of improvement in sound could I expect?

Build the 4355 crossover Charge Coupled. JBL have been using CC coupled Solens and they offer good value. You could also go with TOTL caps. Do a search on Charge Coupled networks. I don't want this thread to turn into another discussion about it as we have a couple of active threads already. It will only cost you a couple of hundred bucks.

Somewhere there is agreat thread on an equivalent crossover for the 4355. That would be worth considering.

Is there anything I can just buy? I am not handy at all for that kind of stuff. I guess probably not given that these are vintage models. Has anyone attempted to built them for sale?
Also, my active crossover is a JBL 3532 which is a 1U rack. Is this crossover high quality, or I should upgrade to a better one which could make a noticeable difference?
