    Exclamation I have 1991 Orion Blue Book

    there are about 6 pages of JBL listings from 1962? to 1991. Entries include :year, power , model (some with details) new list , 1991 used retail price.

    If you all are interested, I can scan and upload as JPGs. Anyone find this usefull to you ??

    The prices listed in that book are totally out of whack, now that ebay is here.

    those were the prices as of 1991. what a dealer pays you for used items and what he shud sell them for.

    I have a couple of these books, 1987 and 1990 I think. The prices shown have always been on the low side, even when the books were current. Apparently Orion surveys prices from dealers and audio resellers; a fellow I know used to participate. There has always been an incentive for survey participants to quote low prices, as the books are often shown to potential sellers to establish value of their goods.

    Orion is still producing the book...

    absolutely true. my dealer goes strictly by the book. when I sell something to him, he turns around and sticks it in the shelf for 3X markup
