You might get a kick out of this(or just think im nuts)
Since i got the ska amp i been playing lots of music
thats basically all i do

Today i spun a copy of the dark side
and i find it hard to keep my eyes open with the ska(any music)

all was good the thing was sounding great
then i hit track 3 on the run
I had an experiance i never had

It seemed like someone aimed a sound lazer(not invented yet) just over my head
From left to right like solid beams of sound radiating at 10 degree increments from a centre piont
Nearlly shocked me out my chair, from a state of utter bliss

When the track finished i just burst out laughing.Im not sure why
But hell im gonna try again tomorrow

Thats' some nasty shit your'e smoking up there. I can remember smoking some that had been sprayed with some wierd herbicide and I didn't come out from under the bed for an afternoon,very trippy!

But the main accidents
left me with poor eye sight a sore head
and one leg longer than the other not doing my spine any favours

I still managed to pay shit loads of taxes and do harder jobs than most people ever will

dairy farming


So yeah i smoke alot of weed have for along time
And totally live in the audio world
I lead a life of pain till i found the majic healing herb! well it helps anyway

Im now 34 i never thought i would of made it this far

So im sure it wasnt any thing i smoked
Just a rare thing
after the recent improvments i made to my system
i have found them more common
bela flek`s new album (the hidden land)lives on the edge
It is designed to shift conciounsness from 1st note till last
and leave the brain more flexable state
im not sure time and space exist after bela
and played that just before i played the dark side
i tryed agian today
im gonna have to replicate the experiment exaclty(star trek style)

the anticipation did not allow it to manifest (nearlly)
with a little more practice i should be able to reproduce this effect on a regular basis
i say to all give it a shot it does exist in the recording your brain just has to accept it!

I been listening to alot of floyd

But i can honestly say that their is more subconcious info (on the run) than anything I have ever heard.

Beems of sound do certainly seem more controled
leeping from my 12" 2 1/2 foot below my ear
and reaching the oppisite speaker
the 10" on the oppisite side 2 and 1/2 foot above my ear
so maybe 15ft on the diagonal the sound seem to nearly reach out and hit me.
let alone the spirals of sound that slowly spiral through the air from 10" to 10" and i can reproduce these effects on a regular basis(you just cant stick the track on and expect them to apprear ,play something else 1st)
300hz seems to be the majic
and 4th order xover
others seem to degrade effects to muddy or clean to form correctly
so many effects i cant explain
others here must know what im talking about!
but i now know why i just bust into laughter!
I have heard this track on a few systems and it never seemed so real
Even the money on the start money seem to fall the right way because i have inverted my top speakers everything from 300 hz and up is down and my 12" run 300hz and down
and the ska amp im sure has a huge part to play in what im hearing
