    Altec 604-8g Crossover Frequency

    Hi,

    Can anyone give me the crossover frequencies for the ALtec 604-8g duplex speaker. I have the original crossover box but would like to bi amp the speakers with SET Amps.

    Altec has always used 1500Hz as the crossover frequency.

    The small horn in the 604,s will not work properly below 1500hz. So do not try to go below that 1500hz. point. The strong card of the 604,s is the point source imaging not flat responce.
