    135A surround

Do you use the same surround on a 135A as on a LE15A? Are there choices in material out there? How much different do todays foam surrounds sound from the original? You can see some cracking at the edges in places but the cones still travel freely, the surround isn't hard, pieces aren't missing. They play like real speakers, I've got horns on top, and not like the tiny boxes that they are so I'm a bit reluctant to mess with what I'm not sure is broken yet.

The surround on a 135 is functionally the same as the 136, which is effectively the same as the 2231 and 2235H. IIRC, the same replacement foam surround is used to refoam an LE15.

So, the answer is for a 135, you need a 2235H surround. It may ALSO be usable on an LE15...

    Regards,
    Gordon.
