(B) Then calculate what the textbook values are ( caps & coils ) of a 3-pole Butterworth network ( HP portion only ), crossing at 800 hz / or 900 hz or 1000 hz ( ??? ) .
If my calculations are right, a 3rd order Butterworth @ 1000Hz =
C1 =16.84 reaonabley close to 16.5
L1 = 0.75 reaonably close to 0.8
C2 = 50.52 about 2x JBL's 24!
Now what does THAT do???

Taken separately, (based on 1st order Buterworth)
16.5uF ~ 1500
0.8 mH ~ 1250
24 uF ~ 1050
but I really don't know what any of this means
