Far as I know, there is not a Serial Number - Manufacturer Year cross-reference. These are different from Martin guitars or Gibson mandolins. There's only 471 (today's count...) real weirdos that treasure Vintage JBL stuff.
The L65 was offered 1975-1976'ish, so that's close enough.
