    Sometimes they are worth less http://cgi.ebay.com/Pair-JBL-2800-Fl...QQcmdZViewItem

    And sometimes one tweeter is worth $50.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/JBL-Speakers-TWE...QQcmdZViewItem

    I hope I don't get Giskarded for this, but why would anyone care? Embarrasing for me when I started seeing stamped can stuff like this in the outlet malls.....made by JBL......I bet Mr Martini is rolling over

    508G stamped frame ventless, coated paper cone, foam (or coated rubber) surround, convex "linen" dust dome. 1.5" voice coil, nearest I can measure visually at the spider.

    Re = 6 Ohms, Fs = 54 Hz, Qes = 0.68, Qms = 7.14, Qts = 0.62, Le=0.73 mH, EBP=80

    Nicely constructed disposable driver, "Made in USA."

    Nearfield response of two units in closed "Mini" box below. Compare to other 8" drivers here:

    http://audioheritage.org/vbulletin/s...126#post120126

    Has the "warmth" of 116A without some of its FR anomalies, but also 10 Hz less bass extension in this alignment....
