You will need to check with your Italian JBL Professional Distributor from here:
    http://www.jblpro.com/pages/contacts/intleuro.htm

    Italy
    AUDIO EQUIPMENT

    Via Solferino 52
    Monza 20052

    Tel: +39 39 212 221
    Fax: +39 39 214 0011
    E-mail: [email protected]
    Web Site: www.audioequipment.it

The latest JBL Pro catalog March 2007 lists the following from::
    http://www.jblproservice.com/pdf/Mis...iption)%20.pdf

    Part # Description US Price
    60176-14 NAMEPLATE 4343B $ 42.43 USD EA

MA-15 is no longer available as a whole kit but the clamps are available:
    60958-01 CLAMP,MTG,PNTD $ 2 .34 USD EA (painted black already)
60958 MOUNTING CLAMP, RAW $ 2 .34 USD EA (unpainted cast metal)

Screws and T-nuts you should find locally and be equivalent to 1/4-20 type threaded hardware.

As for gaskets to fit a 15 inch woofer, the original 20059 cork gasket (in 4 pieces) is no longer available. A suitable replacement might be one of these self adhesive gaskets:
    71129-01 GASKET, 15", SELF ADH. # 3M950 5MILS THI $ 1 .08 USD EA
    73404 GASKET, 15",SELF ADH $ 1 .08 USD EA

There are also preassembled kits of the MA-15 on Ebay, no affiliation:

    Hope this helps.

You're welcome! May be a problem though as I've heard JBL Pro may not be able to sell these parts internationally. Might be possible for someone to get them here and then ship them to you in Italy or have to go through Italian distributor who may or may not have it. You may also want to check other European country distributors, shipping may be less.

I doubt the name plates are actually available... there are quite a few part numbers out there that are listed but are not actually available.

As for the MA-15s... the last time I ordered the parts the old style cork gaskets were NLA.

    Good Luck!

    Hi Widget,

I agree that many part #'s may or may not be there. In speaking with Dave at JBL Pro parts over the years, he tells me there is one person who has been working on continually updating the parts listings and trying to verify the existence of real hard parts (among all the other work they have). And even though the part number is there, quantities of many vintage system parts are probably pretty low or get sold out quickly, if they haven't been NLA for awhile now.

Interestingly, the newest parts list(s) are dated March 2007 so hoping there has been a new accounting (fingers crossed) of what is in the list. Also, the list has been reconfigured to be part numbered as well as alpha by description. Thankfully, JBL Pro has published them in .pdf form and they are searchable, which makes it a lot easier and you also get to see other parts that are sometimes scattered throughout the list. Kinda fun for those of us who like to actually read through entire inventory lists like this.

The alpha list works best if you know the exact description which usually coincides with the tech manual description (search for links in LH for the tech manuals or exploded diagrams). But it does help to have a thesaurus mind handy to probe the list for other ways they may have described it.
Ex. OP asked for grill nameplate and nameplate is correct. Other ways to describe could be label, logo, model plate, identification label, etc.

There are separate listings for recone kits/repair parts for drives that list each driver, and all its component pieces that are available or substitutes if any.

Maybe we should start a thread about how to navigate through JBL Pro and JBL Consumers websites and our experiences with their customer service/parts departments and how to work with them best.

    Regards,

    Bart
