    volume, please for 250Ti

Has anybody measured / know the internal volume of the 250Ti cabinet ? I need to retune a set of boxes for the clones I am making.

The boxes are 3.2ft3 ( originally 4315B's ) and if anybody has suggestions on tuning, the currently installed single PVC port is 3" dia and can be lengthened as required.

    Also, of potential interest, this:

I've kinda settled on 1.1 - 1.3 kHz with LE14s and small horns....

Try hear as well. Remember to subtract the sub-chamber volumes for the 108H and 104H

    Port in a storm

    Thanks guys!

I spent all of 10 minutes poking around but didn't see the tech spec sheet that giskard had posted.

Well it looks like the 3.2ft is going to be a little small unless I play games bumping out the back.

But I have to make room for the monster caps on the CC crossover so maybe that's a good idea...

    ready to rock

    Everything is here:

    (2) LE14H-1
    (2) 108H
    (2) 104H
    (2) 044Ti

    All with new parts.

    (2) 4315B cabs

And now the CC network schematic so it's off to madisound for the parts that I don't have.....

Stay tuned on the DIY forum.

The rugrats go back to school tomorrow.

My 104's came from 104h-1 frames and Ebayed cone kits. One of which was bad so a newer kit was ordered from JBL. The 108's were 2118's that had the frames painted black and new 108 kits installed from JBL. Both cone kit's were available from JBL a couple of months ago. They may still be if you want to go this route.

    diggin' an a scroungin'

The 044Ti's were removed from 18Ti's from a music store...50 bucks.

The 104H's were rebuilt from 104H-1's with new kits.

The 108H's showed up on ebay with new cones, 100/pr. BIN..

LE14H-1's were built using 2225 mags on a pair of 14" frames from a recone shop's graveyard.

So far, so cheap. I have at least 5 major speaker building projects that have been on hold since I relocated the woodshop one year ago. I need to get some of these *done* and then decide what to keep and where.

I tell the wife the hobby / sickness COULD of been old cars in the yard....

Great info. I didn't know you could "make" them that way. which models could be volunteers? can the 44 be made that way? are enough parts available?

Sorry to hijack thread, this is exciting news to me
