JBL L series binding post solutions ?

forgive me if this has been covered.....My L100s,L26s, L36s all have the old skinny, push type speaker wire connectors on the rear. They are difficult and only accept small gauge wire.

Are you guys just living with them "as-is" OR is there a good solution ? (besides removing crossover and soldering better posts thru )

I pulled my woofer, cut the wires, stripped the insulation, installed beefy modern posts, and never looked back.

In fact, the old posts brought $15 on Ebay.

    Pffft.

On all my jbls except for the 4312's which accept larger wire, I replaced the posts with radio shack (im poor) 5 way binding posts(think thats what their called) and placed them in their original location. It looks good and makes it a lot less painful to wire them up. Used all the orginal hookups inside and just adapted the new post to work. Havent had a single problem.
