    lancer 77' passive radiator surrounds

i recently purchased a pair of lancer 77's on ebay. it looks like the original surrounds will have to be replaced. what about the passive radiator surrounds? i know about the difference in the le 10 sound once they are replaced because i had it done on my lancer 66's and it really made a big difference.any info would be appreciated. thanks , pete

If the passive radiator material has also hardened or cracked, then yes.
(It almost undoubtedly has). I've done a set for 77's and it made a
nice improvement in the bass dept. Bit of a pain doing four skinny surrounds,
let alone carving off the old lansalloy, but it was worth it. -grumpy

    lancer 77 surrounds

thanks grumpy, amazingly enough the surrounds are really soft and have a lot of movement. i will listen to them a while and see how they last. thanks again , pete
