    LE15 Refoaming question

    I have aquestion regarding re-foaming of LE15...
In the past I have used SimplySpeakers Edge-It kits that do not use shims on the coil. I have done this a few times with decent success.

But, since JBL's have closer gap tolerances wouldn't this make shimming the coil a necessity?

Want to make darn sure I get these absolutly right!!

    Any input appreciated!!

Do a full re-cone. Those babies deserve it.

No. It is possible to do it without shims.
