    On a stock Windows machine, you have to use a DOS window and type the commands in. There are third-party GUI FTP clients available, however.

    You can access an ftp site from any browser. Just type in the following in the address bar:

    ftp://userid:password@ftp.audioheritage.org/

    Wow. I feel like we just had a baby...

    Hey Don+John - These would seem to be worthwhile guidelines to add as a ftp "sticky" or something.

    And, someday, over that rainbow, it would be nice to compile what we know of transducer polarity (at least I think it would be nice... ) and stuff it into the reference section (have I been remiss in this? Lemme know...)

    Regarding the polarity thread, I'd be interested in adding that to the "Reference" section. If you want to try and distill the pertinent information from that thread, I'll post it.
