    119HS-1 Thiele Small Parameters needed

Does anyone have these? Drivers are from Control 10. Getting a pair to base my first home brew JBL speaker project with.

Bring them down to my house and I'll measure them for you, Then you'll know exactly what they are and how big to make the boxes.

Funny story here (pics in a few minutes). I found the pair (listed as brand new) on CL in NE Phila for 75.00 for the pair. Figured I always liked the sound of the Control 10, so hey the price is right.

While enroute to get them I call the seller since I am running late and he is all apologetic. Here there was a mix up, the speakers were not new and since one of them had some damage (tinsel leads (correct term?) had been cut and resoldered).

Bottom line, the guy gave them to me for free. Gotta be a good omen!

Duaneage, let me know when you want me to stop by!

Please post your measurements here when you get them. I have a couple of these too, and never could find their info listed.

    Thanks!

    Don't look right

Lead should come up from bottom.

This is limiting the cone excursion as there is not enough length when the cone moves too far.

Easy! we don't want the neighbors to talk or get suspicious.

I built a 5.1 system for a friend three years ago and the neighbors were up in arms about the noise from the saws at all hours. If they see woofers being hauled in and testing going on they may get nervous.
