The 2402h is an excellent choice for HF between 10khz and 15khz. Full of details. An alternative would be the 2403h.

Bonjour,

Following ETF 2009 which allowed me to listen to my speakers in a different room instead of home, and due to some advices, I decided to purchase used JBL 2402H. Those tweeters have the same specs as the GPA 399-8A wich simplified the filtering. I hooked them up on the RCA MI-9472A autotransformer which attenuates the GPA 399-8A with relation to the 515-8G.
The filtering is made only with a 1.5µF for a 6dB rolloff, the listening results is a more "aerated" sound due to the extended high frequency response, thus making some details appearing.
Beautiful cabinet, Stephane.
I would ditch the bi-wiring. It is a waste of wire and I would flush mount the woofer from the front of the cabinet to reduce unwanted diffraction.
Everything else looks perfect!
Hi,
My project for 2010.

Hello,
Version 1: Did you watch the size of JBL 5672 or 5674, it is 2m77 and 2m90 ceiling.
version 2 : it's my current system
version 3 : it is more or less reasonable 1m80
Stéphane
I think you’ll find the horn mid range to high about 30 inches wide.
