Hello, according to what I included/understood, company GPA, are the old ones from ALTEC, which took again all the service part after sale and continues has to manufacture best the references of this manufacturing.
For GPA, to see the bonds according to: http://www.greatplainsaudio.com/
Not,je regret not my JBL 4430, it adapts better has my part , owing to the fact that they less low descent in frequencies, if not they are more dynamic, request much less power and I find low medium clearer and detailer.

Bill Hanuschak is a great guy and answers technical questions to help out.
Great Plains audio is a company of one, Bill that is and he was one of the last standing engineers of Altec before Extra Viscious(EV) took them over. He also bought a lot of the tool and die equipment so that the same equipment that was used for making Altec drivers is the same used today.
His drivers are good enough quality for me to buy, if that means anything to anybody.

Hello, I ended up finding the formula for the calculation theoric of the frequency of resonnance of this enclosure.
this frequency is thus +/- 40 Hz.

Please give us some insight as to the comparisons you have found between old and new drivers. If anyone could possibly preserve tradition I think it would be Bill at GPA.
A friend Dave WOJO who also is a member here has wonderfull things to say about new GPA offerings.
Could this be the vintage gear of tomorrow?
Gary
Most are identical except for some later drivers that were more driven by using only 4 types of magnets(EV's decision) whereas Altec used 12 or so different magnets.
Bigger magnets do not always mean a better driver.
Bill modified some drivers to bring them back to the orignal specs.
Naming conventions for the drivers have changed only due to legal copyright issues as Bill has some original equipment to make the drivers the same as the original Altec drivers.
Altec is a company owned by overseas folks and about to be merged again(seen on this forum last week)!
