4344 mkII

I'm new here, but I've done alot of research reading your forums.
I just purchased a pair of 4344 mkII. What can I expect from these.

Welcome Turnitup,

As you have most likely read, the 4344Mk11 was the last in the evolution of the 4343.

This revision has all the bells and whistles like charge-coupling and a refined set of drivers so in theory they should be nice.

However, the woofer may not have quite the extension of the previous versions so be selective with room placement. Be sure to biamp them to extract the last drop of performance

Thanks for the info. The speakers were sent for repair, as there were
some crossover issues, any upgrade suggestions while there at the
shop is appreciated. These speakers are in great shape, looks wise.
I have about a $400 budget to get them as best as I can.

There was a slight distortion problem, the more power was applied. Low
volumne was okay, so I'm having the drivers, wiring, etc checked out.
