    Altec n1209-8a vs n1201-8a

I have a pair of Altec n1209-8a's that I am rebuilding. While looking at them I saw that they are not too different than the 1201-8a network. Does anybody know what the original speaker system was for the 09's? Although I am going to put togeather a pair of the 01's from the schematic I am thinking that the 09's would probably work also.

    Hello

I have a pair of those speakers. Much too bulky for our place. Great Shape and work quite well. Interested? I'm about to put on eBay very soon. Email me at [email protected] if interested.

    Thanks

1201-8A is not the model number of a speaker but it is the model number of the crossover network used in many large Altec speakers.

You would do best to add a photo of the speakers you have for sale in the Lansing marketplace below.
