    We use one of those at work to power a HP model 200CD "Wide Range Oscillator" ...mucho clean power
    But I didn't know it could pull that kinda cash..
    Hmm..maybe I'll tell my boss it's fried, and offer to throw it away for him

    That fetched a somewhat higher than normal price.

    These go for 16-1800 in mint condition.

    I would be suspicious with this wording especially when SOLD AS IS is clearly defined...

    "This item turns on and works, but we have a crappy mic and it sound ok, but with a good mic it will most likely make the difference."

    I suspect it may have distortion issues. Might be a blessing not to have won it.

    I just figured that they were trying to plug a cheap, low impediance mic directly into the balanced input without a preamp and of course couldn't make that sound right.
