Lovely Work! Thanks for sharing the photos.
You're killing my OCD though with the wires protruding the sheet rock beneath the wall rack without going through a wall plate!
They sell split plates that can be installed without having to disconnect the wiring.

Thank you very much for the link but it's one of the details that I still have to do! I will surround the hole with hoak like I did with the rack and because I have two amps comming tomorrow, I have to make an other rack beside for them and my second B77.
I finished the acoustic panels, thinking of acoustic clouds but that can wait...
Has anyone done a metric version of these plans ?
You will need all the internals, baffle measurement, as well...
Compare to the overall work on those speakers! Converting the measurement is a piece of cake!
It is a lot of work! Believe me...

I saw a video from Kenrick Sound, i believe they use particleboard for the sides/top/bottom. Is the front and back birch ply 3/4" ?
I was a bit confused when i saw the video, KenrickSound seems to be making quality work, but still they use cheap particle board. What material did Jbl use for the original 4355 ?
Baffel seems to be very thin compared to modern speakers.
They used to use particule board.
The 4350 used to be made with 3/4 with more re-enforcement.
The 4355's were the best Studio monitor back then. Only around 200 pairs build buy JBL. Extremely rare.
Someone had an original mint pair for sale here not long ago. I don't know how much they have been sold but I would think around $35k.
I don't like modern speakers. Plastic, expensive and ugly...
Im not sure what speakers are you referring for plastic/expensive, but there is lots of speakers on the market that are build much more sturdy and vibration free compared to old Jbl speakers.
You seem to have some kind of attitude problem or just a bad day ?
