Hi,I don't advise on using the 5235 for high quality hifi unless it's has been fully recapped and modernised and if you need specific EQ for the 4355.
While it is a good starting point, the 43's really their potential with something like Bryston 10B, Westlake etc.
I had a BSS 360 (actually I still have, it's on the shelf waiting for a new owner) and it ran circles around a 5235 but then came the 10B and wiped the floor with both. It was also the first crossover I had that I could not directly distinguish it's sound signature.
I just took a look at the japanese audio-heritage website and I am surprised to see that 4350 actually had a higher bandwidth than 4355.
It's stated as 30Hz-20KHz within 3dB whereas the 4355 "only" does 31.5Hz-18Khz.
i fully recapped my 5234A and it works very well for me...
