I'm in the process of relocating to a temporary residence for the next 8 months while my house gets a facelift. So, the big JBL and UREI speakers are packed off to storage and I've picked up a set of the bi-amp'd 6208 mini-monitors off Craigslist to use in the meantime.

Well, these little guys aren't too bad. I see from a search here that the originals had problems with transformer buzz, which I don't have with these. Now, on to the questions:

Anyone had any experiences doing any upgrades/mods to the power amp circuitry in these things?
- I see from the schematic there are a few caps in the frequency divider as well as a rather large DC-blocking cap inline with the tweeter.
- I'm considering upgrading those caps to see what, if any, improvements I might get. Mind, though, that I only intend to swap these caps with the same values but with a bit nicer ones that the non-polarized electrolytics I see in there now.

I do appreciate any experiences......

Cheers,

David
