Are the 066 tweeter domes supposed to be textured? I just purchased a pair of 066 tweeters off of eBay and want to make sure they are authentic.

The 066 is a textured weave. They don't have raised "nubs" or "dots"- but more of a subtle woven fabric (which they are). They look legit to me.

The weave is linen. And the aluminium coat was applied using a special machine. Actually, the linen was bombarded with aluminium particles.
Maybe its just your pic, but they sure do look dark. They should be a bright aluminium color.
Over years of hard use some of my 066s had lost their aluminium coat. I sprayed them with silver paint.
