    JBL Console Speakers?

I recently acquired a pair of vintage speakers complete with wood lattice, rolling wooden covers, and JBL D130 speakers installed. It looks almost as if they used to be part of a larger console that was cut down to separate the speakers from the center portion (which would be tragic).

Does anyone recognize them? I'm wondering if there's any template for restoring them, or if they were perhaps part of a kit.

    Welcome to the forum.

Nice woofers and grilles… looks like the tweeters have gone missing. Those cabinets were made by someone other than JBL either as a kit or fully assembled. This was quite common back in the day.

There are lots of directions you can take these depending on how much effort and expense you are willing to invest.
