What speakers are this?

Can anyone out of these pictures see what kind of Altec Speakers this are? And if someone can... do you have specs, are they any good, are they worth something? I've NO experinces with Altec only JBL, but that of course can change if these are worth trying

That's the 816, a later version with ceramic drivers. Here's a URL for the page, with a description, from the 1989 Altec Pro catalogue, which is in the LH library:

Hmmm, I guess they are not was I was hopeing7dreaming for then.... so I think I'll pass on the $450 offer for these speakers.

They look like the're worth it to me. The horn is common to many VOT configurations. I'm sure they'll have "that big easy ALTEC sound."
I'm not the brightest crayon in the box though.

Try to find out the woofer model # and someone with better advice may happen along.

But do you want them?
The horn/Drivers are worth close to $400 (Up or down, matched sets, condition YADDDA YADDA)on EBay.
If you bought the current offering from ALTECPRO it would be more like $3000ea, I would take them, but the wife would terminate me......
