    Anyone know anything about the Telefunken T-201 Short wave receiver?

    Anyone know anything about the Telefunken T-201 Short wave receiver?

    I have a chance to buy one thinking it might be fun to play with but I know nothing about them.

    But it has Long Wave, Short Wave plus FM.
    In Germany FM (UKW) was always an importand feature within standalone tuners

    Thats the one. It looks like it might be fun to mess around with but I dont know what to pay the guy.

    o.k., the website dosn't show the specs correctly, here is a copy out of "High Fidelity Jahrbuch 1967/68".
    It is a Hifi-tuner from that time, but it is only one amoung others. Best at that time were BRAUN or GRUNDIG here in Germany. On eBay prices are strongly varying, but I would estimate 0 - 50 EUR for the BRAUNs and GRUNDIGs. (But I've got a much better BRAUN receiver for 25 EUR ).

    As best prize I suggest "eine Kiste Bier" ( a box with beer?) you both can enjoy
