Hello Anti K
Read this:

Lots of great information here:

Don't but a lot of weight on distortion measurements. Look up the Geddes distortion metric.

I have some wavelet measurements down to 200Hz. I cross at 700hz I don't see any issues. You have to remember 2440/375 were routinely crossed at 500Hz in home systems 400Hz in the Hartsfield. These...
Can you say theft of intellectual property! That is certainly what it is.

Hello AntiK
It depends on country of origin. I am on the east coast. UK post figure a week to 10 days UK Air with tracking about half the time. Germany, Italy 2 - 3 weeks normal post. Canada...
Hello Widget
Your right but I was more addressing subwoofer cabinets not necessarily the whole system. Yes for the mains I completely agree. For subwoofer cabinets??
Unless you know before...
It's lots of fun to play with these ideas beforehand. If that is your real layout the Everest cabinets need to be inside.
It could look good, personally I would not do that. Subs are in utility...
:lurk:
I can't do that for you. What horn are you using with the Everest cabinets?? What's the LF cutoff, directivity?? Are you going CD or old school?? Are you using the cabinets as intended? Do you have a...
Making this much harder than it has to be. This is a very basic and a simple decision. Look for a current driver that meets or exceeds the ancient 2123. You do not need the power handling built into...
Where is the confusion?? 101dB 2.83v 1 meter 8 ohm version. That's a standard measurement.
As far as the VTX 20 those are single elements for an array. There may be a minimum number of elements....
Just don't go full Kabuki on us!
It's a joke search "Kabuki Speakers" if you are not familiar.

Got any pictures of the cabinet? Did you get the throats for the compression drivers?? If not you are going to need them to use the cabinets as intended. Guido made throats at one point not sure how...

Hello Anti K
You have to decide what you want to do, we can't do it for you. Looking at the size of your space you might be better off doing a normal size system to cover a small curtained area...
Hello Ivica
I could not find anything beyond the brochure and the 3rd page of the driver spec is missing in the library. Did you look at what I posted a link too? If you can use them in a system...
Not really a 2123 could do that all day. It's 100db 1 watt and can handle 250 watts.

Anyone know the internal volume of an Everest cabinet??
Rob:)
I have both my passive M2 Horn 2216nd 476Mg system and my original 4 way mains in my HT system. My 4 way mains are quad amped 2235/E-145/2123 and 2453SL on PTH1010 waveguides. Subjectively they are...
It's a 2 1/2 way so both woofers share the same range from say 200hz and lower. The 4435 is a single shared box just like Everest. You really don't need 2 2216's unless it's a huge space.

Look at the data sheet. Response drops like a stone from 10K
Rob :)
That the there is a throat mismatch to the horn. They use mylar like the 2435/2431 435Be 435Al
Rob:)
I don't see the worry. What media are you using?? If it's CD anything above 20K is a moot point!
