Yes indeed. I plan to fabricate them myself.
And of course I am checking EPay.
Thanks for the bump. :D

Found a pic
Now, would anyone out there kind enough to provide a few measurements?
I know somebody has an original L36 grille
A nice person perhaps?
Please take a pic of your L36 grilles for me. Pleeeeze! :D

I recently bought a project set of L36's
The biggest issue is that the grilles are missing.
Would someone be willing to snap off a few pics of their L36 grilles?
I need a shot from the inside...
The blue is really washed out in the pic.
Bart as we all know, has the JBL blue down pat.
I like this:
For me, the biggest part of the L100 experience is looking at those quadrex grilles! :D
I absolutely had to go with Bart's foam replacements
This?
I am also looking for JBL orange grille cloth.
I have absolutely no interest in Zilch blue.
If anyone knows a source please post!
I replace the voice coils ONLY on many JBL speakers because the original cones are unobtainable.
So, the short answer is yes. You can replace just the vc. It's a bit of a ticklish procedure...
I know it's a bit late to jump in, but Bart does fantastic work! I would look no further than he!
Oh, they certaintly are still in business. I talk with them at least once a week. The problem is that MWA doesn't do retail sales. So I doubt Dave, Rob, or Colleen will be answering those emails. ...
I just received a pair of brown and a pair in orange to go along with the blue pair that I already have. Now all of my L100's look GREAT! Hey, they look like L100's again!
Sonofagun does awesome...
When you put your JBL logo back on, did you cut away one of the foam squares or did you just smoosh one of them down?
I haven't put my badges back on. Wondering what to do....
Heinz, I scored my 2500 from a posting in our local San Francisco Bay Area Craigslist. In fact, the guy had it stored only a few miles from my house.
It is the one pictured here. I was the first...
I have a newly acquired Marantz 2500 and a 510M/3600 combo that I run with a pair of L-300's.
I like the combo of JBL and Marantz. Of course, I love my JBL's with any of my vintage amps and...
I am a JBL guy through and through. But, if you have a chance to buy a set of these Yamaha's, despite the alleged drawbacks pointed out here, by all means, consider them! Especially if they can be...
Going from L19's to L300's is like going from a lizard to T-Rex!:D
Good luck with your restoration. I would love to have a project like yours!
Along with all of what I have in my signature, I picked up another pair of L88's, another pair of L65's, and a pair of L88 Plus. There's no end to this!
Forgot, another pair of early L100's! :D
I bought a pair of L65 Jubals for $45 at one of the local thrifts. I was tipped off by one of my birdog scouts. He told me that he saw a pair of big ole JBL's with walnut cabinets earlier in the...
I have the dark dense grey foam. Two types, 51868 and 54721. Both types are for the LE25, but I'm not sure what the application is. That is, what speaker systems that they would be correct for. ...
Fangio, I have a similar story. When I was about the same age as you, I too bought a pair of L-166's. Like you, I wanted a pair of L-65's but couldn't afford them. I found a store in San Jose...
