I just use 1x stereo for horns. i'd think a pair mono would drive these just fine. i like mine!

i use a dbx PA2. cross them at 1450hz. pass aca driving horns, and first watt j2 driving mid woofers. then i have a pair of hawthorne augie OB for the bottom end.

i just bought a First Watt J2 to power my 846A horns. currently building a ACA, may use that for horns and move the J2 to woofers... should work nicely.

getting my Valencia project wrapped up and wondering the thoughts regarding time delay between horn and woofer in bi amp application. using a pa2 for xo duty.

where do you measure from the horn...
