Sorry, dozed off.
Magnet on one has tiny damage. What you're seeing is a two piece magnet. Photos were on cell phone. I have batteries on recharge now for good camera. Shouldn't take too long....
You're probably right. Never took my Marshalls apart to see a Celestion. They sound great. Any idea on what they are worth?
Thanks
mrmuse
So did I, same thing. Except no screws in a celestion. Also went through my JBL stuff. Vintage cone,
cork gasket????

Explain please, as they sound as good as the E120's they were paired with.

I bought 2 JBL 4622A cabs and thought they had E120's, well that's what I get for thinking. 2 E120's and 2 unknown, one in each so weight was same. They look the same while in the cabs, but...
None of the drivers are original. I have 2 Knight professional loudspeakers with the number 33002110302 that came in the boxes. One spare..
The 8 inch you see in the picture with a "whizzer"...
Am in the process of rebuilding old Ross (Kustom) 3 way cabs. They originally contained 2 18's (not sure of brand) 1 8 inch (enclosed w/big horn flare) and HF Driver and horn....
I am...
These were recently given to me. They are KUSTOM brand from 70's or 80's. They appear to be Altec horns, but the tweeters look like EV.
Does anyone know anything about these???
Thanks..

Isn't there a picture of the back of the Ashley???
I thought so...
mrmuse
Yeah, now ya got it. I was going nutz..The SC80's I have are the 4 way mono version of this.....
I used to run the 4699 and the 4695 4 way, and the 4628's and 4612 were fill monitors.....

Here are the pix...

No it is the XR88/12 and is not the same as the 4001. I will take a pic and post it here..
Give me 5 minutes...

I have the ashley manual and it doesn't give a clue as to using it that way.
I tried every combo last night using the crossover but always heard something missing.
I was going to bypass the...
Not sure. Always used the Ashley 4 way. I'm tinkering with it now. But it raised another question.....
Why the two low outs (left and right) AND the sum out???
Couldn't the crossover be...
According to specs they cross at 800 and 3k. Right now I'm pushing 450 watts to the lows. Cutoff at 40 since I have 2225's in, instead of the E145's.
But having 4 outputs is the problem. What...
Feeling foolish here. Have had my 4628b's for 5 years. Noticed the low input and the high input and naturally ASSumed that the 3rd was a mid input....Now it looks as though they are two way...

I have 4 or 5 d130's, would they be good to practice on??? I can get cheap kits for trial and error, or is there another route to go.
Also Reconing seems to be a closed door practice. Nobody...
Cool, I don't feel so bad now as I didn't catch anyone laughing...
I've learned over the years to shutup and pay attention and when ever possible pick the brain of the people that know.

Please don't laugh, please don't throw things. I'm trying to learn.
What in that picture is wrong??? I read and read and because you all have so much "speaker" knowledge under your belts you...
After checking everyones recommendations, I kind of like (a whole lotta like) the 2242H.......Hmmmmmm....
