How many 4410A's do you have in your system?
I love the new avatar.
When I saw that I LMAO. Well done.
A few years ago I scored a nice used pair of 4412A's. I just snagged a pair of the 4410A's, a one owner pair. I have waited patiently waiting for a nice pair to show up on the bay. Finally home.
I...
4412a overachiever.
I listen to jazz in my living room on two systems, JBL L100t and 4412A studio monitors.
Over all, with good source material, the studio monitors are much more accurate and realistic.
Thank you for that wonderful write up.

My recent experiences with JBL have been with a purchase of S38's used, a modest three way bookshelf speaker. I liked them quite a bit. I sold them to a musician and recently listened to them in...
soooooo, once the system is installed and all set up, then you start listening to your music collection and and and then who shall come and get you out of the area and take you back into the world???...
3 ways I have owned are s38 and 4412A. I like them both.
Thank you Widget and Valentin.
I am not trying to go on the cheap, rather I am collecting information.
My present system consists of 5 NHT classic threes and one NHT center along with an SVS...
Widget,
Subjective yes, however, I have not yet had the opportunity to hear either of the powered monitors. From what I have read, technologically, they are more advanced. I don't want to assume...
Thanks for the replys to question 1. Have any of you guys heard the powered lsr speakers and how would they compare to the 4412a's?
Thanks.

The avatar relates to me and the warden liking Airedales, as in the large terriers. Originally they are from the dale of the river Aire, which I always thought was a cool turn of phrase. I...
Very nice looking set of speakers. Good luck with them.
I have 2 4412a studio monitors that I was able to score very cheap. I like them.
Question 1, Just how good a system could be had by using 7 for a home theater surround system?
Question 2,...
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with my S38's. I thought for the money spent they were very good speakers. I combined them with 2 S120II subs, one under each, they were very good.
I thought they...
Doctor,
I think I have a link for the Sansui info you seek in my computer at work. I will try and get that link to you soon.

nice job.:applaud:
I have always wondered what the 4410A's were like. I had the 4408A's and then had an opportunity to score a nicely kept pair of 4412A's. The transition from the 08 to 12 was more of an impression...
I consider mine to be very accurate, good stuff in good stuff out. Yes, you will hear all of the mix good and bad.
I power with 100 w per channel. I wish I had the room to do 6 of them with a sub...
I listened to my 4412a's horizontal, tweeters to the inside, 4 feet apart and I sat 8 to 10 feet away. They were used as L and R speakers over top subs in my rec room for both HT and Music. Very...
The 4410a is a studio monitor. If I am not mistaken, there were three models in that line, the 4408a, 4410a, and the 4412a. There is literature and info from jbl pro on the internet which describes...
Would I be able to build a sealed diy sub capable of response down to 15 Hz using this 18" driver?
