I don't remember the tread size/pitch, but it is a common SAE thread. The threaded mounting holes are opposing each other, i.e. top and bottom if you orient...
They are a real pain to deal with because of the weight and since the weight is so far behind the front of the basket. There are threads inside the mounting holes that are there to help you wrangle...
Here in the US, the factory built M2s can be found at prices that make me scratch my head on why someone would bother building a clone... that said, your speakers look so much better than the rather...
