Seriously. 😊
If you leave one woofer mounting screw out and play them, you'll be surprised how much air can shoot out such a small hole,
particularly at system resonance. ... it was surprising and a bit of nerdy...
They only have to be in sync once ;)
Keep it up and every hour your house will sound like something from DSOM. :D
While you have invested a fair amount of time in doing so, you've made some crazy good deals...
a gratifying combination, I'm sure.
Arcam FMJ, Ohm Walsh F's, ... Your Goodwill caters to a different level of donators.
When those came out, thought they looked clean and sounded nice when
played through some gear well above it's pay grade (which was not mine...
heard it in a low-BS Pasadena CA 'high end' store) :) ...
Sounds reasonable... they're still around to ask :)

Touted as "Personal Monitors" ... reminds me of the LT-1 without the frame=the-cabinet issue
(i.e., the Pro III woofer can be serviced or replaced). Congrats on the outcome of your holiday shopping...

Hoping the transport and pickup/laser assy are working...
I don't doubt it at all.
I'd -guess- shielded cable, with the shield only connected on one end, with the ground
connected to shield at the reference/source end sounding better (or component...
I certainly agree with 'hear it for yourself' and be satisfied with your own findings.
I've done this myself and have no problem spending cash where I find value such
as in workmanship and...
They were worth that (probably just in the connectors).
Just don't expect magic, or you might hear it :p.
nice grab. I've got the dark gray version that rotates vinyl well enough... pretty sure you
can get parts if you need them (e.g., dust cover, pop-up light, arm bearings, 45rpm puck etc...).
Horse pucky (regarding Doc's concern)
The more shortcuts that were taken in the amp design, the more likely
there might be audible effects. A well designed and operating dual-channel
amp that...
I recall seeing those, but not hearing 'em... this was the best source I was able to find at the time:

Would be interesting if they were...
