I haven't been posting for a while and wanted to touch base. I have attached the system that I have been listening to for awhile. After the New Years I am knocking down a wall to make a large Man...
Too much, is just right...
Beautiful work.
That sounds like a killer deal. I don't think the horns would be hard to fix up. I prefer the one piece horns too.
I have dealt with these guys before. You have to talk to them to determine quality and availability at the time.

I type longer posts to NotePad or some other word possessor. Then cut and paste to the reply. BTDT.
They can handle a much larger amp with a little restraint on the volume knob. An amp that is too small is generally more of a danger, to the tweeters in particular.
Welcome to the forum, good to...
I rode up To Tampa yesterday to purchase a couple of $250 drivers I really didn't need but the guy made me an offer I couldn't refuse. He gave me a pair of 2360A horns and throats for FREE. I have...
I guess that's why I failed 6th grade math...:eek:
Where is the discrepancy? (15+1+1=17" and 7/16"+7/16"=3/4") It seems to add up to 17 3/4".
OK I found the problem;
The actual overall depth is 17 3/4". I don't know where this measurement went wrong but this is the mistake.
The inset on the front and back 1" boards is 7/16". 15" inside...
"Mixer to Computer: 1/4" Jacks (Mixer) to 3.5mm (Computer Headphone Jack)"
I think this is your problem. You need a line out. Head phone jack doesn't cut it. Get a USB to line out converter box....
Here are my L7s. I ended up pointing the woofers outboard because in a smaller room I couldn't get them to work well in the corners. They are back assward but sound pretty good.
A pair just showed up here for $200. I have one set I bought just to see what all the fuss was about. I will have to by the other pair.
As to location, I will post a pic of the way they ended up in...
Very nice! Good luck on your new project.
Welcome to the Forum.
Take a look here;
http://www.parts-express.com/speakers.cfm There are some adapters in the Horns and Drivers section.
Welcome aboard. :wave:
Nice catch, they are one of my favorites.
I just measured it and it is 15" deep inside.
There is a company that makes concrete forms called Sonotube. It can be purchased in 8".
PVC pipe can be found in 8" also....
A really fine job! :rockon2:

I have both the 4641 and the 4645C. They are the same cabinet and differ only by the driver installed. There is some information on 4645C on the Forum that provides measurements and some construction...
Thanks Ruediger, That's perfect.
I would like to add two 2404H tweeters to a 2380/2446H 2" horn. This would be per side on a portable DJ setup. Can someone suggest a low order network for it?
I don't have a clue on how to add two...
