They image pretty well and have a great sense of depth as well. I heard the M2 once and on a scale of 1-10, I would rate the M2 a 10, and the 4349 a 7 or 8. The soundstage is also good, not as good...
The 4349 arrived as planned last Friday, they have been playing ever since for at least 8 hours a day. How the sound signature has changed during the burn-in is insane, they went from a very sloppy...
I also have a hard time figuring out the model name, 4432 would have been a more appropriate name, I guess:blink:.
I had both the 4429 and 4367, loved the 4429 and never became good friends with...
Back with a follow up..
I have spend the last 3 weeks moving around and making final adjustments, but it was worth it, now everything is set up as perfect as it can be in my listening room.
The...
My chain:
Bluesound Node 2i <Coax out> MiniDSP SHD Studio (Dirac Live Room EQ below 350hz) <coax out> McIntosh MA7900 <8 ohm> JBL 4367 (HF and UHF down 0.5 db), not raised but placed on a 1" high...
I really don't notice much of a difference between the 8 & 4 ohm taps on my MA7900, when you use the 4 ohm taps you have to increase the volume by 3db before you are able to compare the two outputs.
Nice analogy.
Maybe you can use this. Dynaudio tech specialist came up with this recommendation for listening. Basics for placement should be done first, equal length from side/back walls etc.

They are much more revealing than I expected, I actually found out that clipping/pops I hear sometimes from my CD's are from the recording process in the studio and not the speaker doing anything...
That is correct :-). I'm using the 4 Ohm taps, but to be honest I like the 8 ohm best, so I would like to know the nominal imp.
Hi,
What should we trust, the backplate says nominal impedance 8 ohm, but the manual says 6 ohm. I saw a review where they measured 5.8 ohm as minimum, so 8 ohm could be possible.
Does anyone...
My ceiling has 100% full acoustic treatment, I sure that the VDH cables is the problem because cables can not make that kind of changes in a setup under normal circumstances.
Anyway thanks for...
I upgraded my beloved 4429 to a pair of 4367 a few weeks back, my first impressions were really bad and I was thinking to my self why the hell did I buy those crappy boxes. I used my burn-in tracks...
Try looking at the 4429, best buy if you ask me. So well balanced and smooth but also kinda cruel and powerful, the only real downside is that they need to be turned up loud to be at their best...

Before you buy any JBL speakers from Asia be warned that I was told by JBL that a western world model is different compared to a asian model even if the model number is the same (they are all build...
It's been a while, time for an update!
I never really became good friends with the ELAC speaker i bought, so yesterday I got my new speakers......JBL 4429:D
The midrange and treble is still a...
Hi,
Thank you for all your input.
I finally made up my mind, and bought something else than JBL's, after my last session with the Array's and Mcintosh gear I realized that they annoyed me...
Had a long listening session with the Array 1000 today, they are more revealing than I thought :crying:. Good recordings sound great, and not so good recordings tends to get a little harsh in upper...
High SPL is important, but it has to be "good SPL", not just high, then I would have bought som cerwin vegas :). The old vintage speakers are hard to find in Denmark, and are heavily overpriced if...
I got my McIntosh MA7000 today :D, It just sounds fantastic, even with my old "semi high-end" speakers, can't wait till I get my Array 1000 or 4429, though nothing has been decided yet:confused:, I...
I've never heard the 1400, and the cabinet vibrations I've read about in this forum and another one I can't remember the name of. When I auditioned the Array 1000 I did notice some vibrations from...
Hi everyone,
This is my first post, so be gentle :)
I'm thinking about buying a pair of array 1000 speakers, but unlike the 1400 serie there is not much info on the 1000, so if you have any...
