Just think do it one more time real good and you will never have to explain it again. More time for drinking
Like them or not the L100’s and all the offspring (4310,L100, L100A, L100A Late, 4311, etc.) are very similar but with differences in drivers and polarities. Do to the vast number of these models...
How do you think This would work on large dents and major scratches?
No connection other than I really like to crank up the JBL's to Jorma and Jack / Hot Tuna.
I don't think anybody wants to start counting hours unless it's a business. You work on it, you take a break, you work some more, things have to dry, you take a break, you do something over, etc....
Giskard... You're the man. Ask and we shall receive. B for black works for me.
I just got a pair of 4312A's and was wandering if any one had the location of a pdf on the owner's manual and tech sheets. By the way what is the differance in the 4312A's and the 4312B's? Can't seem...
I do believe most feel the 123A-3 was the better sounding speaker. You have to watch if you are going to use one in place of the other. Say replacing the 123A-1 in an L100A with the 123a-3 from a...
Yes it’s true I have helped a few young men and woman to appreciate the qualities of fine woodworking.
The Nova’s are another post soon to follow.
Do a search, the post was from Donald
Please let us know your results. Steaming out the dents and scratches can take up alot of time. a faster/better way would be great.
No fair, you have a full working shop. You cheat.
Yes I do work in a full working shop. And I will take these comments as compliments. But to set the record straight a shop has very little to...
They where down for awhile so I was not able to give a direct comparison. I must say after refinishing I did not notice any lack of bass or any difference at all.
I have also listened to a...
They say third times a charm. She realizes that she's not the only love of my life. I also love JBL.:)
First off there are many ways to finish or refinish wood. Some to me seem to work better than others. This is just my opinion and someone else may have their opinion. Who is to say what is correct or...
Can we assume that you are set up and making exact Quadrex grilles?
How was the JBL logo placed on the floor stands for speakers like the L100? Was it painted, branded, engraved, etc.?
Thanks in advance
I will have let you know later. Right now the receiver (Marantz 2500) is in the shop. So I decided to refinish the cabs on the L88's. I'll post some pics along the way.
I just got my L88’s and bo was correct. The green lead connects to both the red binding post and the red terminal on the 123A-1. Battery test (+) cone out
That would be outstanding !!!!
I’m not sure where but I came across the “JBL Pro Studio Monitor Reference Chart”. I think it may have been posted by Giskard. Very handy to look up what components go with what models. I was...
Is there a place on this forum where the tech sheets for the various designs are located?
That is music to my ears. Makes things simple. :applaud:
My test was on the L100A late 123a-3 woofer (cone in) not on the L88
