What? No love for God or the Academy?
Good for you TD. Keep on rockin'!
Please, Grumpy, help a brother out.:window:
TD, congratulations. I wish I could hear it, but I'm just really happy for you that all your hard work and patience has paid off so well for you (and...
Not a problem for me using Vista 32 bit with Firefox 3.0.11
Not to mention it's a good movie besides... :)
Both links worked like champs for me in Firefox as well (on a PC). Perhaps this is just another instance of IE's lack of standards compliance showing it's ugly face?

Thank you so much for these links! This...
That just puts you in a lot of good company. :D
Yeah, you're right that the poles of the speakers would be physically in-phase, but you can still send an out-of-phase signal to two of them (reverse polarity for the signal to one channel of the...
If I'm not off my rocker (pardon me if I am) in-phase sound sent to a particular channel should be localizable intentionally, in-phase sound sent to a pair should be localizable to the centerpoint...
Not to put words in TD's mouth, but something tells me with networked active EQs and crossovers, he can probably change the curve on the fly between different albums, much less different purposes...
Everything really does look just fantastic.
You need to make sure Grumpy keeps coming over and taking pictures. These are really sharp shots! :applaud:
Thankfully now I've eaten, but as a younger sibling, allow me to confirm: You suck. :D
So hungry... :cooked:
Don't forget, he may also post in the calibration specific thread over here:

You know I wanted to come. Wish I could be there to hear and watch, but I'll gladly live vicariously through photos and descriptions when you can peel yourself away from that well calibrated behemoth...
Looks fantastic! How's it sounding with the acoustic dampening up? I bet it's quite the treat even prior to calibration and coming off something as nice as the PSs.:applaud:

I just noticed, you've gained some unexpected new laserdisc storage space to the left of where I assume...
Really exciting to watch this all coming together, TD. That bench up front is slick, and I can't wait to see the sub in there. Does it fit completely under that? God I wish I could hear this rig....
2000 Hz! :jawdrop:
I have to admit, I feel kind of blessed to have found JBL so early in my audio-life. I feel like I've dodged a lot of bullets and found a lot of gold (thanks in no small part to...
I'm with you on smooth transition, but even at a crossover of 130 Hz like the PS, you'd be "missing" a good bit of their high end potential. I'm honestly just really impressed with JBL's technology...
What I can't believe is that they're rated up to 200 Hz? I mean seriously, who could sit in that room if the extension was high enough? Wowza... :bouncy:
TD, you've got yourself some heavy...
You, sir, are prone to irony. ;)
I like the 5-stack of amps very much. It's the Dagwood of amplification, and that's a good thing.
Now that's a sub. :nutz:
EDIT: Now *those* are subs.
:banana:Who needs drooly faces when you've got the dancing banana?
TD, those speakers... those amps... just gorgeous. Just gorgeous.
I can only imagine they'll sound even better than they look....
Next project: Bat Cave.
