Would love the chance to absorb & learn more JBL goodness since one can't simply run in a showroom in stateside for demo.
I can almost imagine the 4430 & 4425 applied in HT setup :D

I installed the same 50w L-pad from Parts Express as recommended
to my L222 and ran Carver amps (TFM-25 mono mode) with no issues what so ever :)

The more I listen to the 886a the more I feel they are under appreciated.

All active & passive woofer surrounds replaced (maybe 5 yrs ago?)
Both Mids working properly...
Am powering them with 250wpc Carver TFM amp. I think the active and passive woofers does not sound as tight as they should (little muddy).
Plus giving its age, maybe the origonal cap. or crossover...
