This is pretty simple folks.
This mixer has a mono mic input labeled "1", and two stereo line inputs labeled "2/3" and "3/4".
All the OP needs is a 3.5mm trs to dual 1/4 ts, or to rca and adapt...

Here, IMHO, are the best bullet copies ever made. Not my auction, no affilliation and all that. I'm not positive but what these are actually JBL and just rebranded Emilar.
...
Just like any other copy, not exactly like the original, but still a good sounding tweeter IMO, with possibly a little more top end than the JBL.
On a budget also consider the copies (bullet and...
Moldyoldy makes a great suggestion here, and refreshes me on the importance of always verifying/eliminating the simplest possibilities frst.
Thanks moldy, you've just reminded me that as with...
Freshening the crossover is a must. I used to think some of the "magic" was in the factory iron inductors, i've since changed changed my view on this after being show 2 stock inductors that were WAY...
You're correct in the respect that by changing the diaphram to a pascalite doesn't make it exactly an 802-8G, but rather an 802-8GHP. The 808's in stock form use the orange mylar surround in lieu of...
Right on! I have GPA 26420 Pascalites in my 802-8G's, the look identical to the all aluminum versions and i cannot hear a difference, but that doesn't mean there isn't one. Either way, far superior...
Can you post a pic of both the old and new diaphrams?
The new phram from GPA should have required changing the terminals on the lead wires to a 1/4 inch push on spade rather than the old style...
My guess is the magnet needs recharging. If the luxman went DC at the output, that could have been enough overcurrent to somewhat discharge the alnico magnet.
How far was the speaker disassembled...
Not exactly sure what you're asking. The 1285 was in a sense the "universal" crossover. It's a classic 2nd order 12db two way dividing network with crossover frequencies selectable at 500, 800, or...
FWIW, Renkus also marketed a duplex/coaxial, their SSD-1800 1 inch HF driver on the CXL-1580 using the stock CXL horn. I believe these were also available direct from PAS without a horn driver...
I'm wondering at what point the engineers learned about internal bracing. Probably my only true "complaint" about many of the Altec boxes.
Strongly seconded!
I've always felt Renkus' innovations have gone sadly unappreciated by all but a handful who are familiar with them.
Very interesting read speakerdave, thank you! That will be filed away in the memory banks. My experience is mainly with the 1 inch 175 series Emilars, the 320 they mention is a large format 2 inch...
The last i knew the Emilar tooling and rights belonged to Plus One Engineering and they used Orange County Speaker as a sole distributor for exact replacments, $90 sounds like a good price for a...
That's a familiar name, particularly if it involves a stone business. Thank you for the welcome.
EDIT: Here are a couple naked pics of the Emilar EK and Renkus SSD series drivers, everybody loves...
This is my first post here, please take the noob's opinion with a grain of salt.
The basic dimensions and geometry of the diaphram, phase plug, and throat are the same as in the annular phase...
