500 hz is pushing horn driver to extremes. You would be better off with 800 hz crossover! 511 horn loading to 500 hz already rolling off rapidly.

Im guessing 1.6Khz crossover. i don't see attenuation or EQ in circuit.

I would run midbass on up with tubes, but woofer best with high current SS amp, unless you have 100WPC tube amp or more.

4430 has superior woofer(2235) but i like the horn/driver(SM120/1823M) in the Sentry III better.

Comparing these 2 speakers is not easy due to different designs and goals.

I've been busy with several friends with medical issues. But I'm looking at trying JBL 2206/2447 on 2332 horn using modified 4pi x-over(Wayne Parham pi forum).

I'm still trying to get my house...

JBL has been gone for years in my mind. I'm glad I have some of the older JBL drivers from the better days of old!
