Dome.. how does the sound compare to a PT800 and PS1400 stacked together
OK Dome, now is the time for comparisions
2 questions
1. How does the PS 250 sound next to a regular 250 ( you mentioned a liitle - details)
2. more importantly how does it sound against a...
Dome, it should sound pretty good based on my own experiences in this direction... Just getting everything in a single box alone should make a big difference in sound compared to standard PS setup,...
someone got around to this project. way to go Dome.. looks interesting. Russ told me today that you were doing this and i had to check it out
Go man go.......:applaud:
You know Mike, I didn't remeber seeing those before and went back to read the posts today, only to remember.. Damn I had seen those post and pictures before.. hell I even posted about them... Ok...

You may mean me.. I've got some 250 enclosures that I was going to put the tranducers from the PS Stack into. Due to personal matters I've done almost nothing with JBL for the last year and half or...
Hi Doug
sorry to see your loss..WOW..hope you get you money back.
Oh no, it's not a sickness.. a sickness is an organic malfunction within a living organism
sadly this is far...
Thanks Don, much appreciated...
Ok, now I understand....once I got this last configuration completed the way i wanted it, it has stayed balanced CD to CD and the sound is wonderful..

Don:
I have a question on your setup. How do you control what freq you're running to the pS1400 ( or what Freqs are going there)?
are you using them that way in HT or stereo or both?
...
yes, I tried that and every other thingy, the last situation is the ONLY way, I've been able to get any true balance ( everyones milage will vary of course). I tried using the gain control on the...
yes, the amp is always on ( flip the switch of course - ha)and it powers the LE14-3,your amp powers the PT800.. Personally if it were me, I'll leave the 300 watt amp as it could provide some real...

Hi Don:
details about the crossover from the bass to the 800 and it's Freq would be appreciated;)
:applaud::applaud::applaud:
I've not heard that "slight buzzing or humm" sound out of mine.
However, I have the same revving sound Dome mentioned; kinda cool really. Let's me know their up and ready for business.:D
I was thinking the same thing:(
:rotfl:
Glad to see you're taking it seriously...:D so far I've not looked into it much....
Oh, what's your crossover Freq?
Way Cool.....Congrads Mike.:applaud: I've got a few questions tho... from the pictures it appears that the crossovers and amps that the regular 1400 has are not in the boxes that Giskard built for...
:D
Well, now that you finally got them together..let us know what you think...
Hey Mike!
Good to see the boxes are finally done:bouncy: ...now get down to some serious listening......
Looks great....enjoy....:applaud: :applaud:
so how long have you had them...
I considered it and it's a good idea, just not for me....
It's not that I'm unhappy with them as they are ( in fact I love them)..it's the perfectionist in me that wants to redesign everything...
personally I wouldn't for 2 channel because the crossover points are different between the two systems. The PS when docked are crossed over at 130 whereas the 212 crossover is much lower( 80 or...
