have a pair of 816A cabs that has taken a serious beating and needs refurbishing
when sanded and painted the ALTEC LANSING stickers on the sides will go south
does anyone know of a source for new ones?

They show up on Ebay all the time. Some are copies, some are original.

If you post a pic of your original that's still on the cabinet and a measurement height and width this will be the best error proof way to get what's on there.You said "the sticker is almost as wide as the bottom side of the cab".Where the problem is I don't know what the measurement of almost is or the measurement of the cabinet.Iam willing to help you but you're not helping yourself here.Get a pic posted and measure the height and width of the decal on the cabinet and I'll be able to try to locate one or two, til then I cannot help you.If your not serious about this then just say so and I'll quit wasting my time.Quote:

I thought it was a piece of cake finding a std sticker. so just forget it then
