Altech Lansing LH-123C
Hi, I found some old Altec Lansing speakers but the owner doesn't have much info on them, just the model #. I looked on google and couldn't find anything. Can anybody here tell me more about these speakers? He wants $90 for them. Thanks

I am selling a pair of very nice 1970s speakers. They are in nice condition, especially considering their age and sound excellent. I believe the drivers are Altec Lansing and the case is General Electric. The case is solid 3/4 inch cherry wood. They are beautiful and have great sound. It breaks my heart to sell them, but I'm moving to the West Coast.

I saw that on AK forum
I posted requesting what Altec drivers were inside as the GE cabinets were mostly for GP use. Be patient and see what he answers with!

He just emailed me and said he would sell them for $40 since he's moving tommorrow. I guess I'll get them, that's pretty cheap.

I looked inside and you can't even see the grills, just a peice of plywood the speakers are bolted to. I also noticed the back of the speakers say General Electric Extended Bass Speaker System. So I guess they're not Altec Lansing. The drivers just say A7151722 G1, G1888907. Anybody able to decipher that?

Definitely NOT Altec speakers - probably from Quam, judging by the bolted-together magnetic structure...

Stephens woofers maybe?, just taking a wild guess at that though
