JBL J620M woofer - fix or replace?

Hi all - just acquired a forlorn pair of these: each has a 6.5" w/ 'nitrile polymer fibre cone' (P206G, aka 76474) and a 10mm 'composite dome transducer'. The woofer foam surrounds are shot, but all else is good. I am certain these woofers are worth saving - but does the forum concur? I'd appreciate input.

Also - I have not gotten any comments or suggestions regarding my earlier post about touching up a scraped woofer cone on my L88. In case you thought I was kidding because it sounded trivial - I was serious. Help!
