Thanks man, been there and Googled that, is it just me or are they all within a poofteenth of each other, spec wise?
Anyone listened to them? Is JBL aiming at different end users? I assume so but who?
I have been lucky enough to hear the S4700 but not the others.

Ivica, thank you for your thoughts. There seems to be very few reviews on the higher end JBL gear, unless I am looking in the wrong places, hence I thought I might bug the brains trust here.Quote:

Currently running Focal 1038Be's and they are great but have always been attracted to JBL. I listen to mainly hard rock and metal with some opccasional female vocals thrown in and the odd Alt J or Trentemoller thrown in if the mood suits. A bit of everything really, except classical and jazz. Hmm- the Daft Punk TRON soundtrack might be a goer though! :)
Might also check out some DIY options, thanks again mate.
The only one of the three I have spent any time with was the 4365. If you can tolerate its size and cost, I can't imagine anyone not liking it's sound.
